est peu etre le pus connue de tout les tartans.
il a etait utilise il y a tres longtemps par le premier Highland regiment, et il est devenue la basse de plusrier autres qui lui sont different seulement par l aujoue d autre couleur vive autour.
avec le temps il a gagnait de la popularitee, les personnes qui n ont pas de clan designe peuvent  le porter.
a savoir qu il est aussi la representation des clans Munros, Grants et Huntings.

here a little bit of story

this is perhaps the best know of all tatarns.
 its earliest use was as a uniform pattern for the first Highland regiment, and became the basis for namy others which differed only by the additional of a bright overcheck.
in the time it also gained popularity for civilian use as a pattern for those who lacked clan association, although in that context it is also used by the Munros, Grants and others as a "hunting" pattern.
